Assam Voter List Released For Assembly Polls

Assembly polls are expected to be held in April and May in Assam. On 18th January 2021, the final electoral roll of Dhubri district was released. In this new list, there are around 15,923 new voters compared to the draft electoral roll which was published in November 2020. Here is an increase of 2.7% voters. There are 3,11324 male voters and 2,91,084 female voters. There are 8081, 80+ voters and 16,255 voters in the age group of 18-19 according to the final electoral roll of Dhubri district. Under the Dhubri election district, there are three constituencies that are Dhubri, Gauripur and Golakganj LACs.

  • Around 876 booths which include 144 auxiliary booths in Dhubri district. There are 95300 voters in Dhubri LAC, 2,04,778 in Gauripur LAC, and 2,02,398 voters in Golakganj LAC.
  • There are a total of 6,919 doubtful voters in all three LACs. In Dhubri there are 2,155 doubtful voters, in Gauripur there are 2344 doubtful voters, in Golakganj there are 2460 doubtful voters.
  • The number of service voters in all three LACs is 902. There are five assembly seats in Dhubri district that are 23 no Dhubri, 24 no Gauripur, 25 No Golakganj, 26 no Bilaspur West, and 27 no Bilaspur East.
